Hepatitis A is developing in our country but frequently affects travellers. The disease is generally not dangerous but it can be very debilitating fatigue that it provides and which extends over a period of a month or two. Hepatitis A vaccine exists and provides effective disease protection. According to the work of a team of Belgian doctors, the immunity it provides can even last up to 30 years. A good reason to not forget its vaccine before leaving.
Today, hepatitis A is more rampant in our country. This viral disease is transmitted through water and food strike especially countries in the process of development where the good conditions of hygiene are not always respected. If Aboriginal peoples can develop some resistance to the disease, this is not the same for the imprudent traveller! Just a few fruit and poorly rinsed vegetables or a few mouthfuls of unclean water still.

Hepatitis A is the less dangerous hepatitis form since it is not likely to evolve into chronicity. After contamination, disease incubated for a period ranging from 15 to 45 days after people and ingested viral load. The first events recall ILI (fever, joint and muscle pain) and are associated with a great feeling of fatigue. Next comes the icteric phase characterized by yellowing of the skin, urine dark, discolored stools, nausea, and loss of appetite. Fatigue persists through this phase. Even if healing is often full and spontaneous in a month or two, the disease is very debilitating fatigue that it provides and which prohibits virtually any activity for a good month. This is in addition a high infectiousness which requires drastic precautions to entourage.
